On 6 10, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs convened a meeting of its Innovation Leadership Group. Zhang Zhu, Party Secretary and Minister of the Ministry, chaired the meeting and delivered remarks.

The meeting conveyed and studied General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions on forward-looking planning and developing future industries, and deliberated on advancing agricultural technological innovation. The meeting emphasized that we must deeply understand and accurately grasp the core essence of General Secretary Xi's important speeches, take them as the fundamental guideline for forward-looking planning of agriculture's future industries, conscientiously implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, establish and practice a correct view of political achievements, stay at the forefront of agricultural technology, identify pathways for cultivating future agricultural industries, proactively plan ahead to seize the initiative while maintaining appropriate pace and avoiding blind follow-the-herd behavior, strengthen policy support and scenario development, and lead the development of future agricultural industries through breakthroughs in technological innovation.

Execute task layout

Strengthen platform development, focusing on emerging fields such as bio-manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
