Follow-up to deepen cooperation
This follow-up meeting responds to the visit by Dean Wang Zhiqiang and his team on 6 / 10, aiming to refine prior cooperation agreements, clarify implementation pathways and action items, and advance school-enterprise collaboration from framework intentions to tangible outcomes.
Collaboration in Research and Industry
Both parties will deepen cooperation in veterinary vaccine R&D, core technology transfer, and commercialization by jointly establishing a Sino-Brazilian Vaccine Special Laboratory and collaborative studios. Leveraging Yangzhou University's School of Veterinary Medicine's strong research capabilities alongside the company's industrial and market platforms, we will build an end-to-end partnership system spanning "R&D—Commercialization—Implementation—Global Expansion," achieving complementary strengths and mutual success between academia and industry.

Collaboration in Talent Development
Both parties agreed to establish an internationalized talent development pathway, offering joint undergraduate training programs under the "2+2" and "3+1" models, as well as opportunities for master's and doctoral education. Leveraging high-quality resources from both industry and academia, the partnership will recruit international students from Pakistan and launch the "China-Pakistan Red Flag Class" to cultivate highly skilled, globally oriented veterinary professionals. Additionally, both sides will regularly conduct faculty exchanges and academic collaborations to enable two-way sharing of teaching staff, technology, and academic resources.
Future Outlook
This symposium further strengthened the foundation for industry-academia cooperation and clarified directions for international talent development, research innovation, and industrial collaboration. Moving forward, both sides will refine implementation plans, steadily advance the execution of collaborative initiatives, deepen integration between industry and education as well as international exchanges, and jointly build a demonstration project featuring synergistic industry-university cooperation and joint Sino-foreign talent cultivation.
